Transaction Fees :
For shows at the Lighthouse Theatre a transaction fee applies to all online and telephone bookings. It does not apply to those booking in person at the box office paying by cash (card fees may still apply). Valid Friends of the lighthouse membership holders do not pay a transaction fee in any instance. The Transaction fee is £2 per transaction. Fees have been introduced to support the running costs of the Lighthouse Theatre. As ticket revenue is divided between many different parties an increase in ticket prices may not necessarily benefit the theatre. By adding a small transaction charge, we ensure that every penny goes directly to the venue itself.

For some performances at the Lighthouse Theatre there may be an alternate booking fee applied to online and telephone bookings for that performance. No cash or card fees will apply to booking in person at the box office. Friends of the lighthouse do not pay a fee in any instance. The fee is 40p per ticket within the transaction. Fees have been introduced to support the running costs of the Lighthouse theatre. As ticket revenue is divided between many different parties an increase in ticket prices may not necessarily benefit the theatre. By adding a small transaction charge, we ensure that every penny goes directly to the venue itself.

Thank you for your continued support and benefiting the arts in Kettering.

Frequently asked questions

Q. Can I reserve tickets and pay for them at a later date?

No, you have to pay for tickets at time of booking.

Q. Do you offer reduced priced tickets for concession holders?

Yes, concession prices are available for individual shows where stated. Concessions may be offered to under 16s, senior citizens, disabled patrons and Kettering Leisure Pass holders – our Box Office can advise you which concessions are available at the time of booking. Discounts vary on each production and on individual performances. Disabled Patrons who require assistance when visiting the theatre can also request a free ticket for their companion/carer.

Q. I can no longer come to the performance – can I refund or exchange my tickets?

We are unable to exchange or refund tickets. If an event is sold out, we will endeavor to sell any unwanted tickets on the understanding that a 10% or £1.00 per ticket (whichever is greater) commission will be charged. Sale is not guaranteed.

Q. Is there somewhere we can get refreshments prior to the performance?

Both the Lighthouse and the Bridge bars will be open on performance nights and confectionary and ice cream will be available. Unfortunately people cannot bring their own food or drink into the building.

Q. Where can I park?

We have a large car park that is free of charge. There is enough parking for 600 cars so parking should not be a problem. Blue badge holders can park in the disabled spaces closest to the entrance. For more information on how to get here see directions under the Getting Here heading.

Yes. You can buy drinks from the bar and ask for them to be served in a disposable glass in order to take them in to the auditorium subject to show arrangements.
